SAFE SPACE FOR ALL!
The "Safe Space" project is being implemented by the Charitable Organization “Believe in Yourself” in collaboration with the Charitable Foundation "Safe Country," with grant support from the Civil Society Support Program (CSSP) in Ukraine, which provides financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commonwealth Office, jointly with the development of the United Kingdom. The program is implemented in partnership with Crown Agents and International Alert, as well as with the cooperation of Crown Agents in Ukraine.
OUR GOAL
After the massive invasion, millions of Ukrainians experience mental and physical suffering daily, fear for their future, and face difficulties in adaptation. Our goal is to help those who need it most by creating safe communities in three municipalities to provide social-psychological support, social integration, and new development opportunities.
OUR SAFE SPACE’s HUBS INCLUDE:
Psychological Rehabilitation Programs:
- Training for psychologists and art therapists;
- Support groups for:
Veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian war;
Military personnel;
Spouses of military personnel and veterans.
Psychological Training for:
- Veterans;
- Educators and teachers;
- Local people.
Art Therapy for:
- Spouses of military personnel and veterans;
- Children of younger and middle age.
Work with the Elderly:
- Basic IT skills training;
- Youth projects for social integration within "Підйом" project.
Youth Work:
- Team meetings of "Підйом" project participants;
- Camp for "Підйом" project;
- Forum for "Підйом" project;
- Lectures on the history of Ukraine.
Leisure Activities:
- Recreation for families of military personnel and veterans, as well as the local people of communities.
